Civic Award Nominations Sought
The 43d Annual Glenview Civic Awards dinner will be held on Friday, Apr. 16.
Nominations for the awards are due by Thursday, Mar. 18, by 4 p.m.
Categories for 2009 awards include: Citizen of the Year, Youth of the Year, Public Safety, and Public Service.
Send nominations and a detailed letter outling their qualifications to Sandie Elliott, Glenview Police Dept., 2500 East Lake Ave., Glenview, IL 60026.
Reservations are available on a first-in basis for the event at North Shore Country Club at $50 each through Elliott. Reception at 6 p.m. is followed by dinner at 6:45 p.m.
